The Wonderful Benefits of 'Seaweed' in Feeds

Seaweed contains many useful plant nutrients including nitrogen, potassium, phosphate and magnesium.

Seaweed is rich in trace elements (iron, manganese, zinc and copper). These are nutrients that plants only need small amounts of and all contribute to the plants health.

When to use seaweed products

Seaweed extract products (powder, soluble and liquid) can be used when the plants are actively growing usually between March and September.

Seaweed extract has been available in liquid and solid form for many years, although today, many popular fertilisers (such as ‘Mary & June’s Garden’, Soluble Plant Food) are now available with added seaweed so you can have the wonderful benefits of seaweed, at the same time as a fertiliser or feed is applied, boosting your plants health and life.

Coming soon: ‘Mary & June’s Garden’ soluble Plant food and Root & Seed Organic feed, with increased potash, seaweed and many more wonderful plant boosting elements.
