Sunday Allotment 🧑🌾
Potato beds starting to grow. Three raised beds this year 18ft x 3 ft holds about 24 plant in each. First raised bed should be ready Mid to end of August, 2nd one month later in September, the third in October. Hopefully plenty of potatoes for the winter🥔.
Water well and keep weed free, remember to earth up (cover from sun light) to help stop the new potatoes going green.
Once plant has flowered and foliage died back the plant should be ready for picking.
