It's time to re-sow bald patches and scarify the lawn
Generally, in September, the lawn starts to green again. It’s a good time to re-sow bald patches and scarify the lawn (taking away dead grass which stops air and water getting to soil).
Start feeding the lawn again – use Autumn feed, which has more potash therefore good for root growth. This will ensure the grass is strong enough through the Winter and is ready for new growth in the Spring.
