Winter planting
Plant out onion sets and garlic in well-drained soil, feed with onion fertiliser this will help promote growth and provide essential nutrients
For a May harvest plant out winter peas and broad beans.
Remember to:
- Dig up any remaining potatoes and stored in hessian sacks.
- Dismantle any remaining bean frames and store away in a dry place
- Continue to harvest carrots and cabbages as needed.
