We start to get a glimpse of the early signs of Spring this month. The soil starts to warm up around mid-February and buds beginning to show on fruit trees and bushes.
- Planting, in late February it is safe to start to think about sowing the seeds of early vegetables. Early peas and broad beans can be sown outside in mid-February under cloches, fleece or in the poly-tunnel / greenhouse.
- Maintenance, apply fertiliser to fruit trees and fruit bushes.
- Cover, soil and beds with cloches, fleeces or sheets of plastic to warm them up for March planting
